About Red Bait

Red Bait is a self-taught artist and illustrator creating agitprop to help build a communist future. After a decade of working with black ink and stippling as her main medium, she now works with color and explores vintage graphic art techniques and processes through digital illustration. Red Bait is currently located in occupied Yokuts territory in Central California but frequents the southern end where she grew up around Los Angeles. She is a passionate communist and advocate for Marxism-Leninism. Red Bait has dabbled in tattooing, done album art for multiple music projects, and has had art and poetry published in magazines and books.
